Terms & Warranty

These terms describe how Optima Roofing & Construction (“Optima”) provides roofing services. By requesting a quote or booking work, you agree to the terms below.

Workmanship warranty

Every full roof replacement we complete is backed by a written 10-year workmanship warranty covering our labour. Roof repairs carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer product warranties on shingles and materials are provided separately by the manufacturer, per their terms. Our workmanship warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner if you sell your home. It does not cover damage caused by events outside our work — for example severe storms, fallen trees, structural movement, or alterations made by others after our work is complete.

Licensing & insurance

Optima is a licensed roofing contractor. We carry commercial general liability insurance and maintain coverage under Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). A certificate of insurance and WSIB clearance can be provided on request before work begins.

Quotes & pricing

Roof inspections are free. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise. The price you approve in writing is the price you pay for the scope described — we do not add charges after approval unless you approve additional work in writing (for example, replacing decking found to be rotten once the old roof is removed). Final pricing depends on your roof’s size, pitch, height, and access, and is confirmed in your written quote.

Scheduling

We schedule work at a mutually agreed time. Roofing is weather-dependent; we may reschedule for safety when conditions require it, and will give you as much notice as possible.

Service area

We serve Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, and Durham Region — including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, call us and we’ll confirm.
